Please do, we are very happy to show people round. Please contact us for an appointment to ensure we are not in the middle of dealing with the cats!
What do I need to bring?
You will need a current vaccination certificate (see terms and conditions). You are also welcome to bring your cat’s bed or bedding, and a favourite toy, (although these are provided). All cats must be transported in a secure carrier, which may be left here for the duration of your cat’s stay.
When do you put the heating on?
The heating will switch on automatically if the temperature falls below 18 degrees.
What are sneeze barriers and why do you use them?
They are a polycarbonate window that eliminates the possibility of cats passing on any infections.
What if my cat becomes ill whilst in the cattery?
All cats are checked very regularly, and records are kept detailing appetite, toilet habits and demeanor, so trends can be noticed and action taken early. A vet is on call 24hours a day, and all guests are covered by Veterinary fees insurance (please note pre existing conditions are not covered). We have an isolation unit where we can accommodate any cat who appears to be ill whilst awaiting veterinary advice, and are fully equipped and trained to carry out barrier nursing.
Do you board un-neutered males?
Males over the age of 7 months must be neutered as entire adult males may present an infection risk.
