Kitten Information

All our kittens are registered with the GCCF, vaccinated, wormed, frontlined, insured, litter trained and used to a busy family household . They are loved from day one, and we only allow kittens to go to special homes where we know they will be equally cherished. For this reason, we do not sell to homes where they will be left alone all day. In these circumstances, we ask that you have another cat as a companion, but this does not have to be one of ours!

We also insist that your kitten is never allowed outdoors even as an adult, unless in a secure run, on a harness or in an escape proof garden.

For further information, please click on this link: www.fabcats.org/fencing.html

We also suggest that you may wish to consider purchasing window screens, to allow you to have windows open in safety. For further information, please click on the following links www.cataire.co.uk www.flyscreensuk.co.uk and www.safetyscreens.co.uk

With your new kitten you will also receive the following:

Vaccination Certificate- all of our kittens have received a full course of Fevaxyn against Cat Flu and Enteritis. We do not vaccinate for FeLv, as it is generally unnecessary for indoor cats, and we feel too many vaccinations can overburden a kitten's immune system. If you also have another cat who goes outside, we suggest you may wish to vaccinate for FeLv after discussion with your vet.

Certificate of Neutering/Spaying- we ask that your own vet signs this when your kitten been spayed/neutered at around the age of 5/6 months. Your Transfer of Registration document will be sent to you upon receipt of the signed certificate.

Pet Plan insurance- your new kitten will be covered with 6 weeks free insurance from Petplan, and we strongly advise that you consider continuing with some form of insurance.
Kittencare sheet and Diet sheet-this explains the day to day care of your kitten, and includes information on feeding.

Safety Sheet- we provide details of everyday dangers that your kitten could encounter, including a list of poisonous substances (courtesy of FAB) Please take time to read this- we would hate anything to happen to your kitten that could have been avoided.

Four generation pedigree

New Kitten Pack-which includes food and gifts from the food manufacturer.

Sales agreement- that we will both be required to sign.

We also wish to assure you that we are always available to answer any concerns or worries you may have about your kitten, however trivial you may think they are! This continues throughout the life of your cat. We also ask that if for any reason in the future you are unable to keep your cat, you contact us and we will ALWAYS take him/her back.
